Why coaching?

Coaching is a way to catalyze the best, to identify and overcome limitations that may have become insurmountable. Our focus is on leadership development coaching in the broadest sense of the word: leader of oneself, leader of one's team, leader of one's organization. This focus comes from our experiences in companies where we have experienced change, both personally and collectively, thanks to the leadership exercised.

The characteristics of a coaching session

The coach focuses on identifying with his client what is important and allowing him to deploy his full potential in the most relevant and ecological way. The same situation, the same challenge and a different client may lead to very different coaching processes. This is true in all our individual and team coaching. We can have our points of view, our convictions, our experiences, but they will be put at the service of the understanding, the taking of distance of the client and not for the benefit of a solution to be implemented.

Measuring the impact of coaching

Coaching is an investment. We feel it is important to ensure that the company can invest with confidence, knowing that it is an investment that is profitable.

Certain conditions are necessary to ensure an impact. Coaching can only be effective if the coachee (individual or team) is co-responsible. The coachee can be very involved from the moment of the request, co-responsibility can also be built in the establishment of the coaching relationship, but it is an imperative condition for its success.

The return on investment is often difficult to measure in a quantifiable way and the most important effects are usually on the long term. Nevertheless, we are convinced that it is important to work on the definition of criteria that indicate the results of the coaching, as for any investment in business. We therefore always think with our clients about relevant indicators for them.

Studies are regularly published to better value coaching: the ICF studies, the annual reports of the SHERPA organization, or a detailed study published in 2008 in the journal of psychology, EXECUTIVE COACHING: IT WORKS! Our deontology

The coaching profession is still recent and the term coaching is widely used, which can lead to confusion. Several associations have worked to define the practices of this profession and have coordinated their efforts to produce a code of ethics.
